As a former raft guide and now a private boater, I now use TRS cam straps exclusively, for the following reasons. (1) the strap material is smooth and not abrasive, as others I have used; (2) the straps and cams are very strong; (3) over time, the straps continue to function well; (4) the D-ring feature is helpful in securing the tail of the strap.
